Your ticket includes a 3-hour hands-on coffee roasting experience, guided coffee cupping session, and Espresso 101 instruction. You’ll actively participate in roasting using professional equipment and take home a 1 lb bag of the coffee you roasted. Classes are limited to 10 participants to keep the experience personal and interactive. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early and note any special requests or accessibility needs at checkout.
801 Coffee Roasters is a small-batch coffee roastery in Salt Lake City built around craft and community. This isn’t a classroom—it’s the real roasting space where the magic happens. You’ll step inside the working roastery surrounded by green beans, professional equipment, and the aroma of coffee mid-roast. The setting is intimate and hands-on, designed for interaction rather than observation. With small class sizes and direct access to the roasting machine, you’ll experience coffee where it’s actually created. It’s true behind-the-scenes access to specialty coffee in Salt Lake City.

Anyone 18+ who’s curious about coffee can attend—no prior roasting or barista experience required. Perfect for beginners, enthusiasts, date nights, or small groups up to 10 people looking for a fun, specialty coffee experience in Salt Lake City.
Beginner: Seekers with little to no knowledge or experience.
Seekers should be comfortable with low-intensity activities like sitting, standing, or walking throughout the experience. Activities may include easy hikes, walking tours, cooking classes, and so forth.

Quest for Peace Community Hike & Sound Ceremony - Waterfall Canyon
We are gathering for a journey into Waterfall Canyon in Ogden for an afternoon of connection, presence, and remembrance. As we ascend the canyon, we will walk with intention, allowing the mountains, flowing water, and stillness of the land to guide us inward. Meet at the Waterfall Canyon Trailhead at 3:00 PM. In your maps app, search Waterfall Canyon Trail to the end of 29th St in Ogden, UT. At the falls, we will gather in circle and share a handpan sound journey beside the flowing water. If you feel called, bring an instrument, drum, flute, rattle, voice, or simply your presence.
