Highlights
DESCRIPTION
We will start by warming up all the joints, learning 3-5 pole moves that can be combined into a routine, then we'll turn off the lights and dance it out with what we've learned.
To wrap up the class, we'll stretch out the body before finishing up with some breathwork.
All my classes include a metaphysical twist, so expect some woo woo stuff to help you play with moving and releasing emotional energy trapped within your body!
Bring: An open mind, a water bottle, a pair of tight-fitting shorts/sports bra and baggy layers (sweat pants and socks) to keep up body temperature during warm-up and cool-downs.
TICKET / ADMISSION / REGISTRATION
Registration covers a 1-1.5 hour pole dance class.
VENUE INFORMATION
The studio is in the detached garage on the west side of the property. It may not look flashy on the outside, but the inside holds a safe space to express yourself using six 10' 45mm studio steel poles, music, lights and more!

When I first started pole I was aching for an outlet as a depressed stay at home mom. The first class I took ended up being a disaster and made me cry! I was encouraged to try another class with a better teacher and got hooked. I committed to learn, teach and grow pole dancing in Utah so that no one will ever feel the way I felt that first class. My classes are special because I bring in the woo woo/metaphysical and somatic healing side of pole dance while offering safe space for each person to grow in themselves rather than what everyone else wants them to be. It's a different kind of pole...

5 Joy’s class makes you feel the most you you’ve ever felt
I wish I could scream from the top of the mountain and tell everyone in Salt Lake about Joy’s Pole class. Her approach is unique. Mixing intention setting while unlocking both your masculine and feminine energy. Joy is a great instructor. Patient, encouraging and so fun to watch rock that pole. If you’re looking for something new to try or sick of your normal fitness and wellness classes, do this. 100% recommend.

Virtual Chocolate Tasting & Cacao Tour
What is an online chocolate tasting? You might be surprised to find out just how much fun it can be with family and friends! Gather your favorite craft bean-to-bar chocolates, or connect with me beforehand and I'll help you find quality, ethically sourced chocolates to try. Together, we'll go on a journey deep into the world of cacao. Through storytelling and tasting, we'll explore cacao's history, science, health benefits, spirituality, and the process of turning cacao into chocolate. We'll weave together a tapestry that's both beautiful and dark, sweet and bitter, just like chocolate itself. We'll also discover how different origins, fermentation, and roasting styles shape chocolate's flavor, using a tasting map to guide our palates. This experience will change the way you look at cacao and deepen your relationship with the "food of the gods," while discovering what the real value of cacao is all about.
