DESCRIPTION
No pressure here – grab your favorite drink if you fancy, and we'll kick things off with some fun warm-up exercises like shading and cross-hatching to get those creative juices flowing. Then, it's onto the main event: abstract contour drawings. The challenge? Keep your eyes off the paper while you draw!
We'll draw household objects and portraits without lifting the pencil or sneaking a peak. And here's the playful twist: if someone sneaks a glance, it's bottoms up for all!
But it's not just about the art – it's about the shared experience. As we uncover our hidden artistic talents, we'll share laughs and marvel at each other's creations. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many participants feeling a stronger connection to their peers and coworkers by the end.

Sketch & Stretch: Relax and create art
Sketch & Stretch blends relaxation techniques with creativity while retaining a level of fun. It’s scientifically proven that meditation, yoga, and breathing open up creative pathways in your brain, which is why I started this online experience. A perfect activity for work teams, retreats, or friends and families that want to connect and bond in a fun and deeper way, you’ll learn basic drawing and color techniques as well as foundational yoga poses, all focused on relaxation and comfort. We begin by warming up with line drawing, shading, and crosshatching, and connecting with our minds and bodies through deep breathing. Gentle chair yoga follows, including side stretching, forward folds, and desk-supported downward dog. After relaxing with coloring, we finish with standing yoga postures and create a line drawing of a plant. Guests will make four drawings, learn six yoga postures, and two breathing techniques, all from the comfort of a desk, kitchen table, office, or even your bed!

We are gathering for a journey into Waterfall Canyon in Ogden for an afternoon of connection, presence, and remembrance. As we ascend the canyon, we will walk with intention, allowing the mountains, flowing water, and stillness of the land to guide us inward. Meet at the Waterfall Canyon Trailhead at 3:00 PM. In your maps app, search Waterfall Canyon Trail to the end of 29th St in Ogden, UT. At the falls, we will gather in circle and share a handpan sound journey beside the flowing water. If you feel called, bring an instrument, drum, flute, rattle, voice, or simply your presence.
