About
Since I can remember, I’ve always dreamed of starting my own fashion brand. I took a few detours in life and dabbled into a lot of different work. After graduating college with a degree in fashion management, I still didn’t quite have a niche in mind for what I wanted to create. I was incredibly inspired by a sustainable fashion class I took in college and knew that I didn’t want to contribute to the fast fashion cycle. The sustainability class completely shifted my perspective. I began learning about textile waste, environmental impact, and how damaging conventional production methods can be- not just for the planet, but for the people behind the garments. The class planted a seed I couldn’t ignore. After plenty of research I found upcycled Kantha. I immediately fell in love with the bold and vibrant colors, and the rest is history.
