I started leading tours in Mexico City five years ago, but the typical tours never really resonated with me. They felt too impersonal, too generic. So I decided to do things differently. I created experiences tailored for the LGBTQ+ community and our allies, ranging from underground queer clubs and food tastings to mezcal pairings and hidden histories you won’t hear in mainstream narratives. For the past 3 years, I’ve been proudly hosting experiences for the queer community. I founded MxCity for the Girls, Gays & They's with a clear purpose: to offer safer, more inclusive spaces for women and LGBTQ+ travelers, and to tell the stories of Mexico that rarely get told, those that confront colonization, challenge whitewashed history, center feminism, and spotlight the radical impact of queer resistance.
LGBTQ Walking Tour - MxCity for the Girls, Gays & Theys
Welcome to Mexico City’s most vibrant & unapologetically queer walking tour created for the girls, gays, and they’s who want more than just pretty buildings. This isn’t your average history lesson. We’ll take you on a journey through Mexican Herstory. From pre-Hispanic roots to today’s feminist and LGBTQIA+ movements. Think activism, resistance, sex, love, parties, heartbreak, survival… and all the spicy, powerful stories that don’t usually make it into the textbooks. We’ll kick things off by sharing a meal and getting to know each other before hitting the streets of Centro Histórico. Along the way, you’ll hear about the badass women and queer folks who helped shape this city, often in spite of the system. We'll wrap up at Plaza Santo Domingo, diving into the indigenous origins that still pulse beneath the surface of Mexico City’s identity. This experience is made for curious minds, open hearts, and anyone who wants to feel safe, seen & inspired in one of the most beautiful cities.

5 Please keep talking like a river because you are the best!
Tania, don't ever apologise for talking too much because there is never too much when we go on this walking tour with you! You gave us so much interesting information that museums don't even show about the queer and feminist history of the city. Keep up the good work!
