Hey all! My name is Justin and for the last 9.5 years I've been working as chocolate maker, cacao grower, and interactive tour guide. As a cacao specialist, educator, and researcher with extensive hands-on experience in specialty cacao production, post-harvest processing, agroforestry, and craft tree-to-bar chocolate making, my passion is to blend cacao tourism, and communicating the cultural, agricultural, scientific, spiritual, and practical dimensions of cacao to local and international audiences both in person at my Centro de Ancestral on Ometepe Island with my Nicaraguan partner, Luisa, and online to anyone in the world. Additional experience and specialization in tropical medicinal plants, ethnobotany, traditional herbal preparations, and educational workshops for all ages. I teach workshops, classes, and help on retreats.
